Jo Howard from Progressive Housewares was at the IHA Congress on Friday18th and Saturday 19th of September 2009 and wanted to let us know that T&G’s porridge stirrers caused a bit of a stir! Some of the overseas delegates found them bemusing. They have proved to be good mementoes for non-Brits coming to the congress.
To top it all, the speaker from Greenpeace finished her very sobering and thought provoking presentation on fighting deforestation by gleefully saying how impressed she was to see an FSC porridge stirrer in the delegate goody bag!

Our National Account Manager Tracy Grandin, was taken for a special long weekend by her boyfriend Gareth to stay in the Seafood Restaurant & Hotel in Padstow, Rick Stein’s home ground. During their stay Gareth proposed and after some scrumptious meals Rick Stein himself posed for the occasion.
