Dear Sir,
I recently rang your Customer Service Team to report a fault with the grinding mechanism on one of your Salt Cellars I purchased from John Lewis a couple of years ago.
Fortunately I did retain your ‘Lifetime Guarantee’ with your product but I have to say, rather shamefully, I was very sceptical that you would honour this when reporting the fault.
Well my misgivings were completely unfounded. The young lady in your Customer Service, Ms Fiona Gissing could not have been more helpful and she was a joy to speak to. Needless to say the replacement part arrived promptly and I am glad to say the Salt Cellar is as good as new. It is wonderful to report that good old fashioned quality service is alive and kicking and without question I will look out for more of your products when the need arises and will speak the name of T&G Wood ware whenever I get the chance.

Subject: Replacement millstones – thanks
Dear Fiona,
What service! The country will soon be back on its feet with a company like the one that you work for! The replacement millstones (free!) arrived the day following my enquiry and the pepperpot is now smiling on our dining table once again. We will certainly recommend your products to all our friends and will give them as gifts in complete confidence. Please let your MD now that we are more than impressed.
